AIED 2022 Sponsors and Supporters
AIED 2022: The 23rd International Conference on Artificial Intelligence in Education, 27-31 July, Durham University, UK
Part of a two major conference event, jointly organised by the Computer Science Department and the School of Education
Why support AIED 2022?
AIED is the next in a longstanding series of international conferences for high quality research in intelligent systems and cognitive science for educational computing applications (Core A ranked). It is run by the prestigious International AIED Society (International AIED Society (iaied.org)). The conference provides opportunities for the cross-fertilisation of approaches, techniques and ideas from the many fields that comprise AIED, including computer science, cognitive and learning sciences, data mining, education, game design, psychology, sociology, linguistics, as well as domain-specific areas. Since the first AIED meeting over 30 years ago, both the breadth of the research and the reach of the technologies have expanded in dramatic ways. Starting with AIED 2013, there is a category for Industry Papers that explore the challenges, solutions, and results from the transition of AIED technologies to the commercial sector.
AIED 2022 is an internationally recognised conference with potentially around 300 attendees
Corporate and institutional sponsors play a major role in funding AIED. Sponsors are recognised for supporting invited speakers, poster sessions, interactive events, major symposia, opening ceremonies, the banquet, and other major events. The logos of sponsors are prominently displayed at specific events as well as the conference bags and the conference proceedings.
AIED will run 27-31st of July 2022, immediately following the EDM (Educational Data Mining) 2022 conference, with one overlapping day (27th of July 2022) of joint events. The conference is to be hosted in a brand-new Teaching and Learning Centre in Durham, which we have booked completely for the occasion (Accommodation & Estates Developments : Teaching and Learning Centre – Durham University). If governmental regulations change, the conference could be moved online.
For AIED2022, example sponsorship is shown below (applied at AIED2018). We can discuss specific needs, as this model is flexible. Specifically, we are interested in sponsors who can sponsor participants or keynotes/ invited speakers from underserved communities (women, BAME, African countries), young researchers (PhD students and MSc by research students), practitioners (teachers, educators, school governors). We are also interested in sponsors who would want to sponsor and contribute to certain events, such as industry workshops, or school visits, college visits, Northern heritage visits (e.g. Beamish museum, Oriental Museum, Botanic Garden etc.).
